MMIS Consultant- Operations Lead 
Location: Work remotely in-home office and travel at least 75%

Our Center for Systems Integrity (CSI) Division specializes in IT consulting, computer systems planning and design, project oversight, quality management, project management, validation and verification, security assessment, and software testing.  Our staff help customers ensure that IT projects meet technical requirements and users’ needs, on time and on budget, by identifying and mitigating risks and issues as early as possible.   
Position Summary  
The Center for Systems Integrity (A Division of SLI Government Solutions) is seeking an experienced Operations Lead with Medicaid Operations experience to help transfer MMIS management and operations knowledge to Medicaid Program staff and lead the management and operations of an MMIS.    
Duties & Responsibilities include, but not limited to:  
  • Provides assistance to the Medicaid Program staff for the management and operation of the MMIS.  
  • Reviews MMIS issues and helps determine best solution for resolution.  
  • Provides guidance and direction for MMIS day-to-day operations and activities.  
  • Identifies risks and monitors progress of MMIS operations, including SLAs and KPIs.  
  • Assist in training Medicaid Program staff to manage and operate key functional areas of the MMIS, i.e. Help Desk, Surveillance Utilization Review   
Experience, Education, Skills and Credentials:  
  • Must have at least 15 years of relevant experience that demonstrates progressive responsibility including:   
  • At least 10 years of experience in a functional and/or Operational management role on an MMIS development or maintenance environment   
  • Consulting level experience with multiple business areas   
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License 
  • Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines 
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness 
  • Must have the ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects and priorities, meeting timeliness and      quality expectations    
  • Ability to work from a home office    
  • Ability to work with colleagues  a virtual environment (via conference calls, web meetings, and using digital collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Office 365)     
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with other members of the team and clients/prospective clients 
  • Must be available to travel at least 75%. Required to be at on-site client location 4-5 days a week.   
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook      
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred  
  • Familiarity with a Managed Care operating model preferred  
  • Project management experience and PMP certification preferred  
  • Ability to speak/read/ write in Spanish preferred  
  • DDI and operations experience preferred  
  • Knowledge of Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) principles and framework preferred  
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Medicaid Enterprise Certification Toolkit (MECT) checklists preferred   
  • Willingness and ability to      effectively engage with people and organizations on a continuous basis.    
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:  
  • Able to travel 75 percent of the time.    
  • Must have the ability to work at a computer for extensive periods of time.    
  • Must have the ability to speak on the telephone for extended periods of time.    
  • Must have the ability to read (paper or computer screen) for extended periods of time.    
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
