Job Overview:  This is fulltime opportunity with hours from 8 am-4pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays through Sundays). This role supports our Medical Review division through completing administrative review of drug testing results and processes. This position provides the right candidate the opportunity to gain a strong familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, specimen collection procedures, chain of custody documentation, and reporting processes. 
 
A Day in the Life:
  • You will collect data and organize information pertinent to final determination of drug test results.
  • You will organize and check drug testing result cases for correctness and release positive donor drug test results for MRO’s review.
  • You will review cases verified by the MRO for completeness and post and release final result determination to the client verbally (phone) and electronically (computer, email, fax).
  • You will communicate, implement, and interpret customer drug and alcohol testing policies and procedures.
  • You will advise clients on federal drug testing regulations as applicable to ensure employer compliance.
  • You will contact client and/or testing site to send in required document for review by MRO.
  • You will assist in interpreting downloads, contacting labs regarding questionable drug test results. 
  • You will troubleshoot incorrect or incomplete specimen collections, contact labs to clarify unusual results.
  • You will order splits and special tests upon request.
  • You will provide and facilitate donor’s medical information to MRO’s as needed.
  • You will assist in corroboration of medical explanations presented by donor as needed.
  • You will clearly document cases and maintain records in computer system.
  • You will remain familiar with “Medical Procedures”, drug testing regulations and processes and drug classes/metabolites.
  • You will maintain strict confidentiality.
 
A Day in the Life:
  • Has intermediate level in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Has strong organizational skills and strict attention to detail.
  • Has exceptional interpersonal, phone and communication skills.
  • Has a high school diploma 
  • Has a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Has a minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.
  • Has some medical training and/or industry experience (preferred).
  • Has a Medical Review Officer Assistant Certification (preferred).
  • Has experience in drug/alcohol testing industry (preferred).
