Position Overview

The Revenue Growth Management Data Scientist is responsible for leveraging large sets of data to generate insights that will drive revenue growth. This role will involve advanced statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms to help the company make data-driven decisions.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and clean data from various sources to create cohesive datasets.
• Perform statistical analysis to understand and visualize data trends and insights.
• Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to forecast future revenue growth.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand their goals and objectives, and provide them with data-driven solutions.
• Translate complex data findings into understandable and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of models and make necessary adjustments to improve accuracy.
• Stay updated with the latest data science trends, tools, and techniques.
• Create dashboards and reports to present data findings and insights.
• Adhere to data privacy and protection regulations.
• Work closely with sales, marketing and finance teams to optimize revenue growth strategies.
• May be asked to perform additional duties as necessary

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2+ years proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
  • Experience with Community Coffee, even if unrelated, may fulfill this requirement at the discretion of the hiring manager with approval from Human Resources
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms.
• Proficient in data science tools and programming languages like Python, R, SQL, etc.
• Understanding of and previous experience merging syndicated retail consumption data (Circana/IRI/Nielsen) and SAP BW shipments data is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
• Strong communication skills to effectively present data findings and insights.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different stakeholders.
• Understanding of Income Statement metrics and knowledge of revenue growth management strategies is a plus.
• Experience with brand pricing and promotion strategy in CPG/FMCG industry preferred.
• Understanding of Food/Drug/Mass/Club/Amazon/Omni retail channel and market dynamics preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Position is officed on-site M-F 8-5 in either Baton Rouge LA or Frisco, TX.
