Administrative Assistant II

Department: Executive

Reports to: Executive and Board Administrator





This position provides administrative support in a variety of functions to an individual, team, department or another group in an organization.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Provides administrative support such as scheduling and coordinating travel, meetings, conference calls and appointments, and other group activities, and arranging for facilities and resources as needed.
  • Assists with creation and assembly of documents for distribution.
  • Composes communications on behalf of the assigned leaders, ensuring accuracy in grammar and content. 
  • Utilizes internal systems to collect, review and analyze data and prepare reports, charts, budgets, and other presentation materials.
  • Responds to or routes routine inquiries from external or internal sources with own correspondence or other messaging.
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality regarding company, vendor and employee information.
  • Provides support to management staff as needed for special events, projects and communications.
  • Leads and participates in continuous improvement efforts to increase performance in order to meet and exceed critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities 




Education and Experience

·         Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or University

·         At least 2 years' experience in administrative support, human resources or customer service   

     Travel Time

      Limited travel required.

·         Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Office Environment: Most of the duties of this position will be performed inside an office environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
